Tend LLC ("Tend," "we," "us") provides residential cleaning services in Orange County, California. This policy explains what information we collect through tendcleaning.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you request a quote or contact us, you may give us:
Your name, email address and phone number
Your home address
Details about your home, such as square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms, floors, pets, its current condition and how often you'd like cleaning
How you heard about us
Anything else you choose to share, such as access instructions or sensitivities to products
When you visit the site, our website platform automatically collects basic technical information. This includes your browser type, device, pages visited, the site that referred you and general location based on your IP address. Some of this is collected through cookies.
How we use your information
To prepare your quote and answer your questions
To schedule, provide and follow up on cleaning visits
To send booking confirmations, reminders and service-related messages
To understand how people find and use our website so we can improve it
To meet legal, tax and insurance requirements
We use details you share about your home or sensitivities only to plan and carry out your cleaning.
How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for that work. These include our website host (Squarespace), our email and calendar provider (Google), and payment processors. Our cleaning team receives the details they need to clean your home, such as the address and access instructions. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our team or our clients.
Cookies and Do Not Track
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well without them. Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, since there is no common standard for them.
Email and text messages
If you are a client or have requested a quote, we may email or text you about your service.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it to provide service and meet our legal and tax obligations. After that, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email us at hello@tendcleaning.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
California residents may also ask whether we have shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing. We have not.
Children
Our website is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No website or email system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
